Melanie Bittner

Outdoor-addict,

She defines herself as an outdoor-addict. Being an alpine ski racer, as a kid Melanie Bittner used to spend her days in the mountains no matter the conditions. Times have changed, but her passion for outdoor-sports has only grown, becoming bigger and bigger with the years.

After quitting her racing-career, she started to find joy and new challenges in other sports such as rock climbing, trail running, hiking and biking.

Still there is nothing greater to her than skiing down a mountain on or off-piste. “It is this kind of feeling I get that shows me that I’m just an outdoor kid and that I belong there.” With growing older, she had to face her everyday life-tasks and her love for sports, combined with studying and working as a chef and a self-employed artist, takes some good time management. But it’s totally worth it – She never regrets waking up early when it’s still dark outside or heading out late at night when it’s cold and stormy. Those moments bring so much intensity and value in her life and she always finds herself coming back from her adventures physically tired but mentally more energized than before.

3 reasons why you love nature

Nature has its own rules and no one can ever change them.

Nothing out there is ever faked. Whenever you see or experience something you can be 100% sure that this is truly real.

It’s so simple out there: just leave nothing while spending your time there and therefore you actually receive everything.
