Paralympic Snowboarder
James has been a keen skateboarder from a young age and first tried snowboarding while on holiday with friends in Bulgaria in 2010. In 2018 James became the first Snowboarder to represent Great Britain at a Paralympic Games and recently became the No.1 Para Snowboarder in the World when he won the 2020/21 World Cup tour.
Based in Morzine, France, James is a huge fan of the outdoors making the most of mountain life, the activities on offer and is always up for an adventure.
3 Reasons Why You Love Nature
I love being out in nature and especially the mountains. In the winter, getting out on my snowboard and exploring the mountains with friends, you don’t think about anything else apart from what you’re doing in that moment and I love that.
I also love the mountains in the summer hiking and road cycling. Just getting out into nature is really calming for me and I love the challenge.
Finally, I am super lucky to snowboard for work. I love how adaptable you have to be every day as you never know what you’re going to get with nature. There are so many things that are constantly changing but the two biggest are snow conditions and weather conditions.
