Photographer and traveller
Born in Asmara in Eritrea, he spent his childhood between Africa and the Middle East.
He finished his high school studies in Italy in 1969 and graduated from the European Institute of Design in Milan, later becoming a lecturer.
Specialized in jewellery photography, he made photoshoots on behalf of Pomellato until 2006 and collaborated with the most important fashion magazines, including Vogue and Vogue Gioiello.
From a passion, travel soon turned into an urgency, an inevitable and necessary move. He began to tell stories through images and words, to share his knowledge and his professional background with other aspiring travellers. In 2013, he founded Mille Battute, a project through which he organizes trips and photography and writing courses.
